There might be a way to resolve the feedback and have best of both worlds (eg have 2 playback options and be able to output audio to both at same time) thru windows stuff, but I'm unsure how to do it. It'll also mess with any attempts to do the "Recording -> Listen tab -> Listen to this device" If you attempt to listen to both simultaneously you'll get feedback. This does not solve "use both simultaneously"- it'll only let you switch between your plugged in headset, and the built-in speakers. What fixed it for me (if you just want to be able to switch b/w built-in speakers and the headset jack) īut this worked for me in the case I wanted to listen closely with my headphones plugged in (thru usb dongle), and also thru the built in speakersĢ. Wrt your built-in speaker and headphone jack, In Playback you will still only have one option, eg. Playback through the new audio device that showed from doing step #3.this will create another device in tab.Once you're done installing and restarting, continue:.
#Realtek hd audio stereo mix serial
you can enter your serial or look for device model here:.Go get Realtek driver from Lenovo site for your PC.You will need a USB->3.5mm audio jack (or if you have a fancy monitor with audio output) for this to work Workaround for me (if you want to hear both at the same time) eg same screenshot as the first comment in this threadġ.I only had option, and NOT a separate.^ Do this because Windows 10 hides this UI of Sound. If I'm reading correctly, I had same issue on my Legion Y740-17IRHg Uninstalling Realtek Audio (Tried and failed, seems like Windows really does not want me to get rid of it) Disabling front panel jack detection (I do not have access to it throught my Realtek Audio UI) Selecting Speakers and Headset as my output devices (it's not showing up, check 1st screenshot) The main problem is that my Realtek Audio Manager interface does not have advanced settings in the upper right corner and clicking on the yellow folder icon only yields this: Now I've spent hours searching for a solution online but nothing worked. Keep in mind that the headset works fine when plugged in, but despite having or not having the headset plugged in, I only have the speakers output device (and yes, I have both show hidden and disconnected devices turned on): The problem is that Realtek Audio Manager only has 1 output device. I want to set it so that I can hear the same (or different) audio through both the laptop speakers and my headset. I have Lenovo Legion Y520 (15IKBM) with Windows 10, installed Realtek HD Audio Manager and a Headset with a 3.5 mm connection.
